Motherlode,
Great stuff!
What good is "knowing" this stuff if we don't have it at our fingertips?

ML, that sounds very cool. Beautiful even, with the sounds you have chosen.
Now, will you humor me and allow me to be a little dense here, I want to understand.
I need help with terminology.
By "sonic migration" I think you mean all intervals in the chromatic scale, each arranged in the order determined by the "melodic tonal gravity chart". These are then arranged as "counterpoint" with the starting notes and spacing derived from the "Mother Chord". Then you are choosing voicings from there.
I remember your "Far Right Edge", which were the intervals at the outer reaches of each "tonal order".
Am I warm or cold?

Very nice, Motherlode. Thanks for sharing your approach! I will need some time to check this out this weekend, and I'm looking forward to it.
Interesting about the Lydian scale intervals over the Sonic Migration voicings. Seems like I often put the outer melodies over the more inside chords. It's nice to get out of that mindset and try the opposite.
